August 2013

No the date isn't wrong.

Back when my Sisters family was out here for my Brothers wedding, my Niece brought her fancy, newfangled camera along. My Niece is the only one who can take a good picture of me. I don't know what happens to my face when someone pulls out a camera, but it isn't what I see when I look in a mirror. All it takes is for someone to pull out a camera and say "smile" and it just morphs. Scary.  I just had two teeth pulled out, so my face had some swelling, and every time I smiled it caused my face to go totally lopsided. Has your tea come out of your nose yet? My Niece is very patient, and takes lots of pictures till something turns out right. She is the best little photographer. Well my Niece really had to work hard this time, and she did such a good job : ) . I think she should go into photography. BUT I never did get around to posting the pictures. I'm a terrible Aunt.

I found the dress at a flea market for a dollar. I wanted to use a couple of the pictures for making one of those picture bar headers for the top on my blog, but couldn't ever figure out how. Maybe someone could explain that to me?

So here are some of the pictures. Over a year late.

Kimberly, you are a really nice looking young woman. You have no worries on that score. I'm sorry you had to have the teeth pulled, I know that must have hurt. I liked the pictures, they look professional.

Nice pictures! To turn them into a picture header for your blog, I create a picture collage in Picasa (which you can download free online). It essentially just turns a few pictures into "one" picture that you can then upload to make the header on your blog.

Thank you. Your very sweet.

Actually getting the teeth pulled wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting. I was asleep, and they gave me pain medication, so I was kept pretty comfortable, and I'm sure everyone's prayers helped.

Yes, Jolie is quite the little professional.

You're so cute! And I love that dress. Really good pictures. Your niece is really good. I wish I could get someone to take a good picture of me. I'm like you and do not see myself the way these pictures come out. So it's nice to have a picture of people who come to my blog.

Thanks. I really love the dress too, but it's not something that I am comfortable to wear out in public, which is exactly what my Dad wants me to do. He wants me to wear it to one of the many tractor shows he attends. He has also been suggesting that I attend with the spinning wheel, and give a demonstration. If it wasn't soooo hot when they hold them I just might, and if I were putting on a display, the dress might fit in, but who knows. I guess I will have to pray about it.
